What are the classes of membership?

There are two classes of membership and the benefits, rights and privileges vary by class.

Class A members:

are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors,

shall have full access to all committees and working groups of the Alliance,

have full voting rights on approval of all final standards, and

have unlimited, free access to all standards/documents developed by the Alliance.

Class B members:

are not eligible to serve on the Board,

but shall have the right to participate in all committees and to vote to recommend approval of standards developed by those committees,

to have access to all of the standards/documents of those committees at no cost,

are not eligible to vote to adopt any final standards.

Friend of PCATS:

support PCATS and its mission to drive efficiencies in the marketplace.

Note: This dues schedule is effective January 1, 2009. New members are on a year basis beginning with the first day of the month in which they join and ending on the last day of the preceding month the following year.

Membership Class A

Large Company: $10,000
Small Company: $2,500

Membership Class B

(Click here for rights and privileges)

Large Company: $5,000
Small Company: $1,250

Friend of PCATS: $500

Definition of Small Company

* For the purpose of defining a small company the following applies:

Those retailers with 50 stores or less.

Those suppliers with annual sales of less than $5 million. Small company/large company designation is confidential.
